“On that day a great persecution arose against the Church in Jerusalem; and they were all scattered throughout the region of Judea and Samaria,
except the apostles. Devout men buried Stephen,  and made great lamentation over him. But Saul laid waste the Church and entering house after house, he dragged off men and women and committed them to prison. Now those who were scattered went about preaching the word. Philip
went down to a city of Samaria,  and proclaimed to them the Christ.” Acts 8:1b-5. St. JoseMaria Escriva said, “If we struggle daily to become saints, each of us in his own situation in the world…I assure you that God will make us into instruments that can work miracles.”

Let us pray, Loving Father we thank You for turning things around for the better as the persecution made the preaching of the Gospel reach the gentiles; Saul the Church persecutor converted to be Your ardent preacher!.
