Word for Wednesday November 13. St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, Virgin.

“As Jesus was entering a village, ten lepers met him. They stood at a distance from him calling ‘Jesus, Master! have pity on us!’ And when he saw them, he said ‘Go show yourselves to the priests’. As they were going, they were cleansed. And one of them, realizing he had been healed, returned glorifying God in a loud voice, and he fell at the feet of Jesus, and he thanked him.” Luke 17:12-
16. St. Maximilian Kolbe said, “The most deadly poison of our times is indifference. And this happens, although the praise of God should know no limits. Let us strive, therefore, to praise him to the greatest extent of our powers.”

Let us pray, Lord Jesus, gratitude is the grounding of our hearts. You have given us everything, eternal life, and the ability to love this day with the power of Your Holy Spirit. Remind us we pray, to live in gratitude. Let it be the force of our day, let it shape how we pray, and how we see others. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
