Word for Wednesday November 30 Feast of St. Andrew, Apostle.

As Jesus walked by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon who is called Peter and Andrew his brother . . . And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Immediately they left their nets and followed him.” 4:18-20. Pope St. John Paul II said, “Prayer is in fact the recognition of our limits and our dependence: we come from God, we are of God, and to God we return.” Let us pray, Father in Heaven, You have made Your message simple if we will but still our hearts, and listen.  Your word brings peace of soul, and light for our paths. May we follow the teachings of Your messengers, be ever faithful to prayer, may our hearts be tethered to You. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
