Word for Wednesday November 3rd. “Which of you wishing to construct a tower does not first sit down and calculate the cost?…In the same way, everyone of you who does not renounce all of his possessions, cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:28,33. St. Jerome said, “Good, better, best. Never let it rest. ‘Til your good is better and your better is best.” Let us pray, Lord Jesus, to renounce all we have is the cost to pay for following You.  But we are weak, and have many attachments.  Help us to let go daily of all that encumbers us, so we may follow You freely, and become Your true disciples. Amen.
