Word for Wednesday October 20th . “We were rescued like a bird from the fowler’s snare, and we were freed.  Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 124:7-8. Goethe said, “He only earns his freedom and his life who takes them every day by storm.” Let us pray, God our Father, You picked us up from the mire and set us free by the blood of Your Son.  It was all Your doing because of love.  Apart from You, we would be lost. 

We give You thanks forever – freely You have loved us! Amen.
