“Herod the tetrarch heard about all that was happening (with Jesus), and he was greatly perplexed because some said ‘John has been raised from the dead’…But Herod said ‘John I beheaded…who then is this?’ And he kept trying to see Him.” Luke 9:7-9. St. Albert the Great said, “The greater and more persistent your confidence in God, the more abundantly you will receive all that you ask.” Let us pray, Father in Heaven, through the intercession of St. Padre Pio, lead us everyday to Your Son. Even in our questions, our trials, grant us perseverance to see that Jesus is Lord in every circumstance, and to abide with Him in our hearts. Amen.
