“Put on as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving one another…and over all these put on love, that is the bond of perfection.” Colossians 3:12-14. St. Augustine said, “One loving heart sets another on fire.” Let us pray, Lord Jesus, You told us to learn of You, who are meek and humble. Show us the way we pray, help us to act in kindness and compassion, for the world needs the patience and gentleness of a loving heart, of someone who has put on Christ. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Matthew 5:16.
