Word for Tuesday September 7

“Jesus departed to the mountain to pray, and he spent the night in prayer to God. When day came, he called his disciples to himself, and from them he chose twelve, whom he also named Apostles.” Luke 6:12-13. Pope St. John Paul II said, “Prayer is in fact the recognition of our limits and our dependence: we come from God, we are of God, and to God we return.” Let us pray, Lord Jesus, thank You for Your example of prayer. May we also take time to pray, to be alone with Our Father, to seek guidance, and to become more fully one with You. Through the intercession of the Apostles, may we bear Christ to the world. Amen.

“Let your light shine!!” Matthew 5:16.

Be blessed. Larry
