his garments became glistening, intensely white, as no fuller on earth could bleach them. And
there appeared to them Elijah with Moses; and they were talking with Jesus . . . And a cloud
overshadowed them, and a voice came out of the cloud. “This is my beloved Son; listen to him.”
Mark 9:2-4, 7. St. Therese of Liseux said, “Be quite sure that God will bless you and that the
depths of your sufferings will be matched by the consolation reserved for you.” Let us pray, Lord
Jesus Christ pick us out for special anointings again and again like You did for Peter, James and
John. Show us Your marvels; bring to us special and deep experiences as we journey on. May
