tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered
abroad upon the face of the whole earth.” Genesis 11:4. St. Padre Pio said, “Humility, humility
and always humility. Satan fears and trembles before humble souls.” Let us pray, Lord Jesus we
rebel; we build towers to make “names” for ourselves but as a matter of fact we are contradicting
You our Loving and Provident God; we are contradicting Your loving plan for us. Grant us the
grace to build with You so that all that we set our hands to is to Your honor and praise. Amen.
