“Those outnumber the hairs of my head who hate me without cause…Since for your sake I bear insult, and shame covers my face… But zeal for your house consumes me, and the insults of those who blaspheme you fall upon me.” Psalm 69:4, 7, 9. St. Faustina said, “In difficult moments, I will fix my gaze upon the silent heart of Jesus, stretched on the cross, and from the exploding flames of his merciful heart will flow down upon me power and strength to keep fighting.”
Let us pray, Lord Jesus, you are the one the psalmist spoke of. You bore blasphemous insults as you were consumed with your Father’s will. You are the Holy One Lord, and bore all this suffering that we may live with you forever. We humbly thank you, Our God and King. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
