“Why do you notice the splinter in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own? How can you say to your brother ‘let me remove the splinter in your eye’ when you do not even notice the wooden beam in your own? You hypocrite! Remove the wooden beam from your eye first; then you will see clearly to remove the splinter from your brother’s eye.” Luke 6:41-42. St. Mother Teresa said, “If you see God in each other, you will have love, peace and joy together.”
Let us pray, Heavenly Father, may we learn to look for the good in others, and love this in them. St. Paul taught us that we recognize the sins of others because we have the same sins. May we humble ourselves and receive your mercy, and thus being freed, may we show this mercy to others. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
