“The God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob, the God
of our fathers, glorified his servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of
Pilate . . . you denied the Holy and Righteous One . . . and killed the Author of life, whom God
raised from the dead . . . And his name, by faith in his name, has made this man strong whom
you see and know; and the faith which is through Jesus has given the man this perfect health in
the presence of you all.” Acts 3:13-16. St Bernadine of Siena said, “The name of Jesus is indeed
the great foundation of the faith that turns people into children of God. The Catholic Faith
consists indeed in the news of Jesus Christ as light of the soul, gate of life and foundation of
eternal salvation.” Let us pray, Loving Father, I pray that You send me the empowering Spirit of
Your Son that I may have a lively faith in His Name; may He always make me strong and bring
me perfect health spiritually, mentally, physically and morally. Amen. “Let your light shine!!”
