Word for Friday May 8. The Feast of the Apparition of St. Michael the Archangel.

“My heart is steadfast, O God my heart is steadfast; I will sing and chant praise. Awake O my soul; awake lyre and harp! I will wake the dawn. I will give thanks to you among the peoples O Lord, I will chant your praise among the nations.” Psalm 57:7-9. St. Leo the Great said, “The faith of those who live their faith is a serene faith. What you long for will be given you; what you love will be yours forever.”

Let us pray, O God, we pray for this grace of a heart that is steadfast. May we not waver in our faith, and in our love, but rather remain unmoved, in you. Be our anchor O God, such that we love as you’ve asked, and keep us tethered to you always we pray. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
