Feast of Joseph the Worker. “And whatever you do, in word or
deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Whatever your task, work heartily, as serving the Lord and not men, knowing that from the Lord
you will receive the inheritance as your reward; you are serving the Lord Christ.” Colossians
3:23-24. Pope Francis said, “Work means dignity, work means bring home bread, work means
love!” Let us pray, Father, You worked as You created the world and us occupying it; Your Son
worked to bring us salvation; the Holy Spirit works as He empowers us for every good action; St.
Joseph worked in his carpentry shop and in raising Jesus. Bless our occupations that through
them we may reach our true destinies. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
