Word for Saturday February 11 Memorial of Our Lady of Lourdes

“My heart is moved with pity for the crowd because they have been with me now for three days and have nothing to
eat. If I send them away to their homes they will collapse on the way, and some have come a
great distance.” Mark 8:2. St. Teresa of Avila said, “In my heart was the likeness of a burning
fire, imprisoned in my bones; and I was scarcely able to bear it.” Lord Jesus, I know You saw the
face of each one, hanging on Your love, Your word. They couldn’t bear to leave. You gave each
one hope and a burning love in their hearts that was not there before. You are the life of the
human race. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
