All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: Behold, the virgin shall be with child and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel, which means ‘God is with us. Let us pray, My God, we thank you for Joseph, who was humble and true. He was faced with your extraordinary plan, the Son of God incarnate, being born of a Virgin. Joseph too said yes Lord. He acted uprightly, faithfully, and bravely. We ask St. Joseph to pray for us, that we may be faithful servants and say yes Lord, we’ve come to do your will.
