Word for Thursday June 18. Gregory Barbarino.

“Jesus said to his disciples…This is how you are to pray: Our Father who art in heaven, hollowed by thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” Matthew 6:9-13. St. Therese of Liseaux said, “Jesus has chosen to show me the only way which leads to love; it is the way of child-like self-surrender, the way of a child who sleeps, afraid of nothing in her father’s arms.”

Let us pray, Heavenly Father, we ask the help of the Holy Spirit, to pray slowly, to truly honor you. May your name be praised, may your will be done. May we receive our daily bread, Our Holy Lord in the Eucharist, and forgive others their faults against us as we wish to be forgiven. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
