“Job said: “Have pity on me, have pity on me, O you my friends, for the hand of God has touched me! Why do you, like God, pursue me? Why are you not satisfied with my flesh . . . For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at last he will stand upon the earth; and after my skin has been thus destroyed, then from my flesh I shall see God, whom I shall see on my side, and my eyes shall behold, and not another. My heart faints within me!” Job 19:”21-27. St. John Paul II said, “Do not abandon yourselves to despair. We are the Easter people and hallelujah is our song.”
Let us pray, Loving Father, the challenges we face and the taunts of others can sometimes confuse us and lead us to despair. Give us the grace and courage of Job to see beyond our challenges, embrace You, and trust in the merciful eyes of Your Son, who lives for the good of humanity. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
