Word for Tuesday July 14. St. Kateri Tekawitha.

“Jesus began to reproach the towns where most of his mighty deeds had been done, since they had not repented. ‘Woe to you Chorazin! Woe to you Bethsaida! For if the mighty deeds done in your midst had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would long ago have repented in sackcloth and ashes.” Matthew 11:20-21. St. Teresa of Avila said, “In all things discern the providence and wisdom of God, and in all things give him thanks.”

Let us pray, Father God, we have taken for granted so many of your gifts. The Eucharist and Sacrament of Penance are great miracles, God coming to us, and at times we act with so much indifference. Forgive us Lord, for your blessing are everywhere. We praise you and give you thanks, God of all love. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
