“The Lord God formed man out of the clay of the ground,
and blew into his nostrils the breath of life, and so man became a living being.” Genesis 2:7. St.
Teresa of Avila said, “I have often thought with wonder of the great goodness of God; and my
soul has rejoiced in the contemplation of His great magnificence and mercy. May He be blessed
for ever! For I see dearly that He has not omitted to reward me, even in this life, for every one of
my good desires.” Let us pray, My God, it is hard to comprehend the life that we have. We
cannot create a living being without life to begin with. Yet You breathed into us Your very life.
