“Blessed the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commands…He shall never be moved…His heart is steadfast; he shall not fear. Lavishly he gives to the poor; his generosity shall endure forever; his horn shall be exalted in glory.” Psalm 112:1, 6, 8-9. St. John of God said, “If we share with the poor out of love for God whatever he has given to us, we shall receive according to his promise, a hundredfold in eternal happiness.”
Let us pray, Lord God, may we become a people with a steadfast generous heart. Day by day, may we be less attached to the things of this world,
and more grounded in you, sharing in our abundance. Lord Jesus, be our way, our truth and our light. Amen. Let your light shine. Be blessed. Larry.
