St. John Henry Newman said, “God created me to do Him some definite service. He has committed some work to me which He has not committed to another.”
Let us pray, Loving Father, You chose Matthias to be numbered among the Apostles of Your Son, and he faithfully took up the place You had prepared for him. When the time comes for us to assume the roles and responsibilities You have destined for us, may we also be chosen and found ready to serve You as faithful witnesses of Your truth and love.
