Word for Wednesday November 4. St. Chales Boromeo, Bishop.

“For God is the one, who for his good purpose, works in you both to will and to act to fulfill his good purpose. Do everything without grumbling or questioning, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine like lights in the world.” Philippians 2:13-15. St. Ignatius of Loyola said, “Let us work as if success depends on us alone, but with the heartfelt conviction that we are doing nothing, and God everything.”

Let us pray, God Our Father, we praise you and thank you for all the good that we do. It is by grace that we make an act of kindness or a sacrifice for someone. It is You working in us, both to give us the desire to serve, and the means to serve. To you be all the glory and love and honor. Amen. Let your light shine. Be blessed. Larry.
